It was commissioned by a customer as a gift for his wife.

Lynda started drawing horses when she was about 6 years old
beginning with 'stick' horses.  Growing up with her sister's big ole'
work horse on her familiy's hobby farm in NW Wisconsin,
she was what most in the family called 'horse crazy', especially after
her folks bought her a big, beautiful palamino gelding.  

Lynda has continued to draw and paint horses throughout
her career and they remain one of the subjects
to truly touch her heart.
